Many of my clients struggle to manage daily life tasks at home and/or work; they procrastinate, lack follow through, cannot finish assignments on time, fail to meet personal and/or professional goals, ruminate over poor choice behaviors or compulsions, and beat themselves up over these challenges. Does this sound like you too?

My goal as your therapist is to support you where you are at, wherever that may be on your therapeutic journey. During our session, we will work together using techniques for various modalities such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused technique as well as Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT).
My clients find me genuine and down to earth, even a tad bit funny and witty, kind and a good listener. I like to challenge my clients with their thinking patterns and behaviors, often giving them “homework” in between sessions (nothing hardcore, don’t fret) to think about and document. Together we will develop goals and work on achieving them while I also hold you accountable. This may look like assessments, testing, diagnosis, developing coping strategies, how to have difficult conversations with a family member or boss, or simply learning how to be in the moment even if it is a distressing one.​​

​​​It’s hard to put a number on how many sessions we may work together, this definitely varies from person to person. Together we will discuss a treatment plan based on your personal needs and goals. You have a story to tell and I want to listen.

When not working with clients, I can be found reading a book in my hammock, swimming or doing pilates. I make a mean apple pie yet would choose a chocolate chip cookie over pie any day.
